THE ANTHOLOGY Today, few venues exist that are dedicated to the promotion of emerging poets, and yet the early years for these poets are some of the most formative in the gathering of an audience and in the creation of an identity within the arts. Emerging poets are not new poets or beginning poets, they are poets who have already found their voice and know their skills; they are not starting out, but rising, ready to burst from the page. In just a few years these emerging poets will be household, even classroom, names and this anthology is a treasure trove that spotlights today’s most appealing, seductive, and intellectually stimulating poets. THE POETS Caitlin Doyle, Jonathan Escoffery, Megan Fernandes, Chloe Honum, Binh Nguyen, Rebekah Stout and Dariel Suarez. THE AUTHOR Abriana Jetté earned an M.F.A. in Poetry from Boston University, where she was a Robert Pinsky Global Fellow, and an M.A. in Creative Writing and English Literature from Hofstra University, where she graduated with Distinction.
