Grace is young, overworked and underpaid. She works in a law office as a secretary, and it seems every time she gets through a stack of work, two more appear on her desk.
In spite of the grind, it’s a compromise she’s willing to make right now: she’s fresh out of school, and and the gig allows her to live in the greatest city in the country, New York. In spite of this, Grace strives to do work that makes a larger contribution to society, but she figures she can put that on hold while she’s young. Over the span of a week, Grace makes a discovery at the office with one of the partners that will forever change her perception of the place she works. In addition, another partner--the wife of the man whom Grace made her shocking discovery about--gives her an offer she can’t refuse.
It appears that her future in the world of law may be looking upward--but, as Grace will soon come to find out, her business and personal worlds may soon collide with one of her office superiors. How will Grace react? Will it be a terse situation, or a beautiful affair?
